COX Series 92 CAR, Carrier Pickoffs/Amplifiers extend the usable range of the flow meter by eliminating magnetic drag on the rotor. This enhances not only the range, but also the linearity at low flow. The modulated carrier frequency is amplified and conditioned to provide a square wave pulse output capable of transmitting up to 100 ft. COX offers both pickoff and modular versions in an explosion-proof housing.
